The Hudson Bay Lowlands

About 10,000 years ago when the last ice age ended, the last of the glaciers grinded on some of the earth, creating lowlands in Canada, which are now called The Hudson Bay Lowlands.
The provinces that the Hudson Bay Lowlands are found in are Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.
There is much of sedimentary anc igneous rock in the lowlands, but it is mainly made up of sedimentary rock.
This area contains mostly conifer forests, as well as peatland with basic subarctic and boreal plants.
Found in this region are woodland caribou, black bears, moose, American Marten, polar bears, belugas, reeds and muskox.
